Remoland gets first museum, amusement park

Come October 10, the Ogun State Governor, Dr. Dapo Abiodun, and other top dignitaries in Yorubaland will inaugurate the first museum and amusement park in the ancient town of Remo, Ogun State.

The projects were executed by the Group Managing Director of Adron Homes, Aare Adetola Olaniyi Olanipekun Emmanuel King, upon his conferment with the Bobajiro of Ode Remo, by the Alaye of Ode-Remo, His Royal Majesty Alayeluwa, Oba Adetunji Amidu Osho (FNSI).

At a press briefing for the unveiling, Emmanuel King said his vision was to change the view of Remoland and make life comfortable for the people.

“I am saddened that our cultural value is depreciating every day, but with this project, this town can become a tourist center and improve the Gross Domestic Products (GDP) of the State,” he said.

“We are elated the commissioning of this Museum is being done during HRM, Oba Adetunji Amidu Osho tenure. Along with the museum opening, we also have an Amusement Park. There is none presently in the whole of Remo land. In addition, a zoological garden will be commissioned in the coming months as well as the completion of the 2nd phase of the museum.”

Emmanuel King also noted that the primary objectives of the museum and park are to serve as a Research, Cultural and Recreational center. The Alaye of Ode –Remo expressed his appreciation.
